“There has been a growing recognition of the importance of women’s health in Australia. The Australian Medical Association’s 2025 Women’s Health Position Statement highlighted the unique health needs and challenges faced by women across Australia, calling for culturally safe, respectful, and inclusive care. The NSW community women’s health sector is recognised and funded for our expertise in delivering this gender-sensitive, trauma-informed, culturally safe care. The last year has seen an increase in recognition of the importance of our sector and the impact we have on improving women’s health and wellbeing across NSW,” said Denele Crozier AM, CEO of Women’s Health NSW. This provided the backdrop for our work across 2025–26, set out in this 2025–26 Annual Report.
